Running
I started running sometime in Spring 2007. I'll have to see if I can track
down the date, but my first run was 2 miles from my apartment in Westwood to the
UCLA math building to deliver graded homework to the honors algebra students on a
Friday so they could review it over the weekend. I loved running and immediately
ran too much and injured myself. I resumed Fall 2008 when I started working at
Castilleja School in Palo Alto. Some of my old routes and times are
here.
In November 2017 I started training for running seriously, so my times
after that point have improved dramatically.
