General Information

We will cover roughly chapters 1-3 and 8 of Complex Analysis by Stein and Shakarchi this term.  This is the recommended text but you may use any textbook, including Gamelin's text which is in the bookstore.  Note that chapter 2 of Stein and Shakarchi is available online here.

There will be weekly problem sets, and it is very important to do all of the problems to learn the material.  The course grade is determined by homework (10%) and a final exam (90%).  The final exam is Tuesday, June 14, 8-11am.

Final Exam Information

Information about the final examination is here.

Textbook Errata

You can find a list of corrections Gamelin's text here.  I don't know of posted errata for Stein and Shakarchi.

LaTeX

Information on using latex to typeset your homework (or use in general) can be found here.
