Text: Multivariable Calculus, by James F. Hurley

 

Syllabus: Chapters 1 (Sections 0 - 5), 2, 3 and 4 from Hurley:
Multivariable Calculus . The course will start with Chapter 1 and
proceed directly through the text.

 

Grading
Two midterms, each 20 percent
Homework, 20 percent
Final, 40 percent

Exams
First Midterm: Friday, October 29.
Second Midterm: Wednesday, November 24
Final: Tuesday, December 14, 2004, 3:00pm-6:00pm.

Calculators are not allowed during examinations.

There will be no makeup exams for the course. If an exam is missed
for emergency reasons, see Professor Liu for a revised grading
policy.

Homework will be assigned once a week on Friday and will be due
on the following Friday. No late homework will be accepted.
